Keep product information available
Store cleaning products in their original labeled containers and follow the manufacturer’s storage directions. Do not transfer products into food or drink containers. Keep labels readable so you can check instructions, warnings, and appropriate surfaces before use.
Store products out of reach
Keep cleaning products away from children and pets, and follow label guidance about temperature, ventilation, and storage location. Use secure storage where needed. A tidy caddy is useful for tools but is not a substitute for safe product storage.
Separate tools and avoid mixing products
Keep cloths and brushes clean, dry, and organized by their intended use. Never mix cleaning products; combining bleach with ammonia or acids can produce hazardous gases. Use each product only as directed, and discuss product preferences or sensitivities with your cleaning team.
